EVAPORATIVE COOLER INSTALLATIONS

Vistech are able to offer a range of Cooling Towers for both industrial and commercial applications. Compliance with ACOP L8 and TM13 is paramount in the design.

Cooling Towers can be provided in a range of materials including 304, 316L Stainless Steel and GRP. Individual designs can be produced to suit particular site or customer requirements.

DRY COOLER INSTALLATIONS

Whilst Cooling Towers are the most efficient means of cooling water, Dry coolers offer the ability to cool water without the risk of Legionnaires disease. Dry coolers can be usefully employed where cooling water temperatures, typically in excess of 35°C, are required.

Although power consumption is higher than with Evaporative Cooling Towers, the lower cleaning and water treatment costs help compensate significantly.

ADIABATIC COOLER INSTALLATIONS

Adiabatic Coolers offer the potential to achieve cooled water temperatures comparable to those obtained from Evaporative Cooling Towers and can operate as Dry Coolers during the cooler months of the year.

During the hotter months of the year water sourced directly from the mains is sprayed over the coil producing the required cooled water temperatures. Cooling Tower cleaning is vital in maintaining the system free from Legionella bacteria...

As the water is not recirculated and is sourced directly from the cold water mains which is usually below 15°C, this cooling system can reduce the risk of problems associated with Legionella. As a further measure all spray water is treated with ultra violet light to kill bacteria that may be present.
